The Twenty-One Taras of Lord Atisha
The first seven are now complete.
With the outstretched palm of her right hand, she makes the combined gesture of supreme generosity and protection. She is the Green Tara with 21 emanations.
With a blend of digital photography and a great appreciation for the Buddhist art of thangka paintings, the twenty-one emanations of Tara are being created by Wordmarque Design & Photography. At present seven more are in the works, as part of a project taking place in the Kingdom of Bhutan.
